Praia da Azarujinha is one of the three breaks in the São João do Estoril area, the others being Bolina and Praia da Poça. Azarujinha is a small bay on the east side of Praia da Poça (a 5-minute walk). It’s a little bit less consistent than Praia da Poça, but you can find fun waves with the right conditions. This wave breaks over a reef and can produce quality lefthanders. It is usually best around mid tide.
To reach this spot, park your car at Praia da Poça and walk from there.
Please note that the best time to surf this stretch of coast is October to March. In the summer there are usually no waves!
