Like its neigbour Santa Cruz, Praia das Amoeiras is a swell magnet with multiple peaks breaking both left and right depending on the sand banks. With the busy Santa Cruz next door, Praia das Amoeiras is a world apart. With less facilities and harder access, it’s usually less crowded in the water.

Although it’s a sandy beach, be aware of the many rocks in the water!
