The beautiful coast line north of Lagide (Baleal) offers multiple fun beach breaks without the crowds. Praia do Pico da Mota is one of the most consistent peaks with fast and fun waves going both left and right. This stretch of beach is also called Belgas and is located 5 km from Baleal.
On smaller days it’s a break for all levels. Make sure you take some food and drinks, because there is not much happening over here. Pico da Mota can work with all tides, but around mid tide is usually the best.
